I love Frank Peretti. I have read all of his "adult" books but I stayed away from his "young adult" ones. I got the Hangman's Curse on a great deal so I couldn't resist and I am glad I did. While the book features teen characters the story line and action is typical Peretti. I loved it and will go and read the other "young adult" stories.
Each Frank Peretti book always reminds us of how much Jesus loves us. This book is a page turner and the plot is mysterious. It is a book and message for all ages. I wish everyone would read this book!!!

FIRST--I'M AN OLDER KINDA GUY---THIS BOOK IS GEARED FOR THE TEEN POPULATION.THAT SAID--I THOUGHT IT WAS A PRETTY GOOD BOOK. I THOUGHT IT WAS VERY MUCHOF A PAGE-TURNER. THE RELIGION WAS PALATABLE. WITH ALL OF THE REST OF THETRASH THAT IS FLOATING AROUND OUT THERE FOR WHAT IS CALLED ""BOOKS"" THIS WASA VERY NICE BOOK TO READ.
I read this book back in middle school and reading it again as I finish high school brings back some awe some revelations that are easy to forget. We need to be kind to people and ever on our guard. Pain and suffering is all around and it is never the time to look the other way or condone it for happening. There's always something we can do to stop it. There needs to be a hero for every pack of bullies and why shouldn't it be you or me.The suspense will keep you reading more and the loving message should be kept with you. I know I won't be forgetting it again.
I read this as a kid, and loved it. Bought it for my niece, and now I want to read it again!
