It has been two weeks since I integrated her "Five-Minute daily Routine" to my morning routine and achieved amazing results in my energetic body and overall well-being. The kit is great, except the back (front?) sides of the cards are nearly unreadable, even with a magnifying glass. I'm now entering the words into a word processing document, so that I never have to read the back of those cards ever again. Hence 3 instead of 4 or 5 stars.I like Donna Eden and all she does. Her energy is remarkable and totally enlivening. Her books, Youtube presentations, etc., are just wonderful.This Energy Kit - the DVD, the CD, the booklet (haven't tried the crystal yet) - are enjoyable, energizing and easy to use. The 43 cards are nicely sized, and one side of each has clear exercise instructions with photographs of Donna. It's the other side of the cards (listing Benefits, Reminders and Exceptions) that I truly hate: the font is white on an orange/white background, and that makes them very close to unreadable.
I have many books on energy. Yet there is nothing quite like seeing the various energy techniques demonstrated, most of which are new to me.I know I would not be doing these exercises properly if I did not see it demonstrated on the DVD. The method used here is a combination of acupressure tapping, and kinesiology method of energy testing to spot energy weaknesses. She also demonstrates the Wayne Cook posture for balancing energy. I found the Heaven rushing in exercise particularly good.I was particularly interested to learn that there are pressure points for fight of flight response (also the freeze response), which I now use for staying clear.In this package is a guidebook with her biography, case studies and an explanation with diagrams of the body's energy systems and a deck of easy to follow flashcards.There is also a cut glass crystal, with a string for spinning the crystal,which can act like a pendulum. The crystal can be used for chakra cleansing, and I could certainly feel a shift in energy in the chakras as they reattuned to the higher vibration of the crystal.There is also a cd. This package is a great value.If you are like me, you may be wondering which I should buy first, the Energy Medicine book or this kit.This EM kit stands by itself, and the multi media format is more user friendly than a book could be. Also, it is easier to carry around the flash cards than a book, for reference. It's Jin Shin Jitsu, a complete system, very easy to learn and use.The EFT Manual (EFT: Emotional Freedom Techniques)by Gary Craig is a simple tapping process useful for letting go of troubling emotions. Imagine easily letting go of issues such as anger, anxiety, fear, forgiveness, stress, procrastination, traumas. [...], and buy various books on Amazon.The Emotion Code by Bradley Nelson. Another complete system for releasing trapped emotions using magnets discovered by a chiropractor. A very well written book, which I discovered at a Donna Eden seminar. I have since attended one of his seminars.I think you will enjoy it, and I hope you found this helpful.
Disappointed in layout - ought to have paid more attention to a reviewer who talked of the orange cards with the white print. Very impractical - super teeny tiny font too, even on the reverse green sides - not conducive to streaming through a morning routine etc. Yes I will still use the kit, but with more effort than necessary IMO. MAKE IT AS EASY AS POSSIBLE for people to incorporate this into their lives.I love Donna Eden's body of work, and I know she's more right brain focus, but if she knows this about herself, better to have someone screen/edit/revise what she produces so it's simple, concise, practical and easy to use.Also, Tracing the Meridians is basic info I expected to see on the DVD as a part of an essential daily routine, but that was left out.
A very helpful and useful kit,but the only reservation is due to the unreadable text on the back of the cards...it's a shame...But nevertheless I enjoy the information and the exercises very much !
Just love what Donna Eden teaches in her Energy Medicine Kit. I am so lucky to have found her. I try my best to do her 5 minute energy routine everyday. I would recommend her kit to anyone! I also have her book 'Energy Medicine for Women'. I am learning much more on Energy Medicine from her book. They are both a 'Must to Have' if you want to learn more on Energy Medicine. Both are very easy to understand. I think that is whatI like about her.
