Ok it has so much, and such great recipes. The desserts and main dishes, are perfect. I love her cookbooks, and her blog,I am so happy to have this in my hands and kitchen. I will use this a lot, and with my diabetic issues, this helps so much.Thank you for all you do to put into these books, recipes. Fantastic.
I cannot believe how many recipes in this cookbook are completely awesome. It is rare that my family uses more than a handful of recipes in a single book. We've had the book for a month, we've tried at least 15 recipes, and we've bookmarked at least 10 to keep in regular rotation. Sure, they're not all slow cooker, but who cares? A reliable cookbook can be hard to find and this one is a complete winner.
At first glance, I wasn't sure about this book as the recipes are different than what we'd normally cook. However, we've now made at least a half dozen of the recipes and have thoroughly enjoyed every one. The spices, herbs and food combinations have been great, and we've eaten veggies we may not have tried. I like making most everything in one pot. I would appreciate some pressure cooker/ instant pot recipes ... Maybe the next book from this creative cook 😊
I follow a Ketogenic Diet. This book is a nice addition to my collection. This book has an assortment from One-pot skillet meals, casseroles, and slow cooker meals.Things I like about the book:*It has tips, dos and don'ts and common mistakes information at the beginning .*The font for the titles (silly but it stuck out and I noticed it right away)*List of sweeteners, low carb vegetable sides, list of low carb vegetables.*Recipes for seasonings such as pumpkin pie spice, cajun seasoning and ranch seasoning*A list of recipes to make your own healthy alternatives (ie. mayo, sauerkraut, cream cheese, kimchi, etc*Many different ethnic and regular food recipes*Pictures for most recipesThings that I am not crazy about:*Book is not full size - it is smaller than a regular cookbook which makes the print size smaller*Pictures could be bigger. Many are full page but some are relatively small. I ordered half a dozen different keto & paleo cookbooks, and this one was my favorite. Lots of good ideas that are easy to prepare.
I have to admit that I was a little skeptical about the Keto way of eating when I perceived its emphasis on fat as the primary dietary ingredient above all else. Martina's cookbook dispelled the myths I'd envisioned about having meals with nothing but lard, bacon, and other saturated fats--her recipes use lots of fresh vegetables, fresh and dried herbs, and a variety of spices. You won't find a lot of packaged foods in Martina's cookbook--if any--and given that the cookbook focuses on meals that one can prepare in a crock pot or a single Dutch oven or deep skillet, you'll save time and headaches as well.Since we've added this cookbook to our culinary library, I've prepared many meals for my family using Martina's Keto recipes. Her meals are flavorful and substantial--we've never felt as if we're eating "diet food" or skimping on our dinners! Our two teenage sons are notoriously picky eaters--especially our younger son--yet he told me after eating Martina's Keto-friendly Coq au Vin that it's one of his favorite homemade chicken dishes! Other favorites in our house: Salmon Chowder, Quick Meatball Casserole, Ranch Chicken Casserole, and Cajun Andouille Gumbo.If this cookbook has any shortcomings, some of the ingredients are either hard to find or prohibitively costly. Also, even being that the meals are "one-pot" or "slow-cooker" doesn't always mean they save time--I find myself spending more time chopping vegetables than the amount of time it takes to actually cook the food--but this is a welcome setback when it means that the food our family will be eating is full of fresh and healthy ingredients.Overall, I highly recommend this cookbook--one of the best I've ever purchased.

Great cookbook that includes recipes for wonderful homemade stocks (a great alternative to bone broth): vegetable, chicken, and seafood / fish stock.This is a "must have" cookbook to keep forever in your kitchen. Clean and easy to follow recipes! It also includes beautiful dessert recipes to make in a slow cooker or insta-pot! Who knew?
