Excellent book, with plenty of good ideas.
Here I go again. Over the years, I have purchased at least 2 dozen copies of PEAK. Not only did I give them to all of my associates as one of the founders and original Director of Training and Management Development at P.F.Chang’s, but I have shared this important book with the top leadership for all of my clients in the hospitality business today. Having been a follower of the teachings of Abraham Maslow since my university days, Chip Conley’s deep dive into the philosophy was inspiring. Even better, he has taken Maslow into the hospitality industry in a useful and meaningful way. You are going to love his stories of motivation in action as the leader of his company. If you haven’t read PEAK yet, make it your next book. If you have, get a copy for everyone around you.
Peak is simply one of the best business books ever written. If you own a business, it will forever change your perspective on what you're doing. If you work for a business, it will open your eyes to what you should be looking for. Can't recommend it highly enough.
I just received a copy of Peak from B&B. I love how Chip Conley applies Maslow to business and to life. I highly recommend this book to everyone.
